Yes, something like that more or less. I do not get why Apple just doesn’t take any remaining Intel-based Macs still on the channel and donate them or something. There can’t be THAT many left, can it? Even if the company has agreements for X chips ordered in place, it should have started phasing out the old architecture Macs LONG ago. They are now more of a potential future problem than anything else.
