This seems to be the case for a lot of people. If Windows 11 was half-baked BUT offered a lot of interesting new stuff, many consumers would probably upgrade, even if only out of curiosity. But not offering those while ALSO being a “work in progress” just isn’t an attractive proposition. People are right to be reluctant.

Just this morning Windows 11 was offered as an upgrade to the second of the three compatible PCs I own. I don’t feel that I am missing anything by not going forward with this upgrade either. Needless to say that the first PC, my main one, is not getting updated to Windows 11 any time soon either. I’d rather wait for “SP1” aka “the first Win11 feature update”.
