This is a good point but, sadly, there is no way for us to know. Microsoft probably knows through the telemetry data it collects, but I don’t think they’ll be sharing that information.

Most mainstream consumers do not use VMs anyway, though, so I doubt that whatever that number of Windows 11 VMs ends up being is important in the greater scheme of things.
