I’m glad it worked for you, I really am. But I’d bet that the number of people actually using Linux from inside Windows is rather small, too small to make a difference in the greater scheme of things.
I personally do not use WSL in Windows 10 so I have no opinion on the matter. But I was under the impression that WSL2 was also installable in Windows 10, it was just that it takes a few extra steps and that people would have to do it themselves.
Does it work better under Windows 11? I honestly don’t know. If it does, then nice, Linux users could consider upgrading for that if it’s needed on a regular basis. If it works in the exact same way, though, why bother? Just my two cents.
