I couldn't agree more, actually. All three statements completely true.

Having said that, Apple COULD have chosen to not abuse a broken global financial system just because it can.

It didn't and still doesn't and will not make that choice unless forced. Which does put this choice in a "moral context" of sorts, doesn't it?
