I agree regarding this particular scene in Gunpowder Milkshake, although the girl does take a lot of beating in other scenes.

I feel that if fighting scenes were "realistically" choreographed in all these female-led films they would be unbearably brutal anyway, as the female would have to be absolutely ruthless to survive. So I prefer to just think of them as trials, of sorts, rather than close-quarters fighting. Scenes that add to the resilience of the character in a way.
