As I understand it, both Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 have to be present and activated in order for Windows 11 to proceed with an upgrade/installation.
Microsoft will be posting more details soon, but it makes no sense for W11 to look for those two as prerequisites and then just go on with the installation process if they are not enabled.
Microsoft's utility is probably just checking whether Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 are present right now, but my guess is that when the time comes it WILL ask for their activation. In any case, since your system is six months old you are covered. :-)
